It does omit one thing. Namely, that men want to be "strong", and hard-heartedness is often confused and equated with strength. The strength we are called to have is rooted in faithfulness to Christ; that is, faithfully following the commands of Christ and crucifying our self-will in order to submit to the will of God in all things. Christ commands us to love one another. Only with a "soft" heart can we begin to love each other. This "softness" is the love of Christ for the world and for each of us. We must strive so that at all times we are filled with that love, and only from there can men of God truly live out brotherhood in Christ.
"God gave me the serenity to accept the things that I can't change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference between the two."
"I am too positive to be doubtful. Too optimistic to be fearful. And too determined to be defeated."
"You never know how strong you are...until being strong is the only choice you have."
"Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny."
nice. let the bromance abound
