Fundraiser

Gentlemen,

Okay, so I meant to bring this up during guys small group but I sadly forgot.

For spring break, I will be coing with my church mission team to Reynosa, Mexico. To give you an idea about Reynosa, it is a fast-growing city close to the border that has seen an increase in industry. This has attracted a lot of workers but unfortunately the city hasn't been able to keep up with housing and infrastructure and thus, ther are a lot of slums. We will be working in an orphanage doing everything from construction to teaching kids.

What I need your help in is fundraising. What we're doing is a bowl-a-thon for our mission team. Basically, our mission team plays 2 games and each member of the team is sponsered. The way to sponsor would be through either a one-time donation, or by sponsoring per pin knocked down (meaning that if you sponsored 25 cents per pin, and I knock down 100 pins, then total pledge would be $25).

In a nutshell, we are playing 2 games. So the total number of pins during those two games that I knocked down multiplied by the ammount pledge would be the total pledge. Just to let you know, I haven't bowled in a year, so I don't know how I'll do, will I get 300...no. haha.


So here's the thing. The bowl-a-thon is today and If you want to pledge per pin afterward, that would be welcomed (I'll post up my score here). However, if you want to offer a one-time donation (the most popular option at the moment), that would be just as welcomed.

Most of all though, I NEED YOUR PRAYERS. This is my first overseas mission trip and I'm nervous and excited. I know i'm going to face difficulties over there and I need your prayers in patience, strength and confidence to spread the love of God to others and most of all, to worship God.
