Tonight is the last night before we leave for home. Leaving for home is always a bittersweet moment. There's a reason why they say home is the most beautiful word in the world, but you get attached to where you're leaving. The people you meet; the memories you've made; the thing you've done; the people who've changed your life: some of these go with you when you leave while some stay, but all make it hard to leave. I've realized that I'll never be able to forget what I've done here in this city and I'll probably come back at the first opportunity.
Oh, and by the way, the street where we did most of our work was Alvar St., New Orleans. I would like to come back to that street some day and walk down it once everyone's moved in.
